Themes Birthday. Thursday , October 05th , 2017 - 09:52:43 AM
Thankfully, girl birthday party themes don’t have to be only about fairy tale princesses or pretty ponies anymore. While those have been the comfortable stand-bys for an entire generation, now BigDotOfHappiness.com has introduced a whole new world of designs to explore. Try on a perky Little Cowgirl or Luau Island Girl theme for size or jam to a pink and brown skull and crossbones sleepover. Coordinating birthday party supplies will add glitter and glitz to your next girl-a-rama when you decide on one of our brand new girl birthday party themes.
A surprise party is always a fun and relatively easy option. The trick is keeping it a surprise! Enlist the help of a couple of your child’s friends to assemble a great guest list, choose a location and get your child to the designated location at the appointed time. Maybe throw in an at-home taco bar or panini buffet to make the party a little more special. No, not the old find a clothespin and a green Lego type of hunt. This is the kind Stanford’s freshmen run every fall during campus welcome week. In the Stanford version, students fan out across San Francisco with cameras and a list of quirky, hilarious and often edgy items to capture and bring back. You can use your town's landmarks and icons to throw a wildly whimsical scavenger hunt party that will be remembered for years.
Fish Relay Game Divide guests into 2 teams. Use 2 large buckets to hold water and place at the starting line. At the other end of the playing field set up 2 plastic milk bottles - one for each team. The bottles should be the same and have a smaller opening at the top. Place a foam fish in each one of the plastic milk bottles (the fish have to float when water is added to the container). Fill the buckets at the starting line with water and give each team a sponge. One by one team players take turns dipping their sponge into the water and then running to their bottle and squeezing the water into it, then running back to the starting line and handing off the sponge to the next player on their team. Teams keep going until they can fill their bottle full enough to make the foam fish rise to the top and out of the bottle.
