Dig for bait Find a great place that has lots of worms and let the kids dig for their own bait. Give each child a plastic container with a lid (that has small holes punched in the top) to hold their bait. Let them take it home for future fishing outings or use it during the party if you will be fishing. Tie helium balloons in pinks, oranges, yellows and greens to the mailbox so party guests will know where your Flower party is located. Line the walkway to the party with real or fake flowers. Set up a display of watering cans and wheelbarrows at the party entrance. Cut green crepe paper streamers into 8 - 10” lengths and tape one end to the top of your birthday party tables, banisters and mantel so they hang down and look like grass. Cut the strips in different lengths. Decorate the room with lots of flowers - real or artificial.
First thing to do is set a date for the party. Now breathe :-). Here, on this site, together with our community of creative Moms and Dads, we’ll help you answer all of those questions. All you need to do (after setting the date as far in advance as possible) is decide together with your child what sort of birthday party you want to throw. It can be a theme party based on a certain character, book, TV show, idea, concept or anything else your child comes up with. Or, it can be a birthday party without a specific theme. Whatever appeals to your child and, not any less important, whatever appeals to you. We’ve organized the ideas on this site into neatly arranged, complete step-by-step themes. Over the years, our two most popular kid birthday party themes have been the: Princess birthday party and the Pirate birthday party.
Make this cute fishing bobber decoration using white Chinese lanterns from the dollar store. Paint the bottom half bright red and add a cardboard circle painted red for the top. String together and hang over the party area or use on the party food table. Use the smaller size for a cute fishing birthday banner by painting a letter of the birthday childs name on each one of the bobbers.
